Young Christian Leaders' Alliance

Lifting the Torch of Reformation

Join the Young Christian Leaders' Alliance!

Words like experience, wisdom, and fun -  and the opportunity to win souls to Christ and the Biblical worldview!  These are all some ways to describe benefits of membership in the YCLA.  However, there are numerous other advantages of being a YCLA Member.  You receive discounts on (or even get for FREE) all resources we distribute.  You get to vote and hold leadership positions in the YCLA.  You may even get the chance to go on a YCLA Pilgrimage, and take a low-cost trip to the Creation Museum (www.creationmuseum.org) or elsewhere!  Start today to become an impact, in partnership with the wonderful YCLA team.

How to Become a Member

You can become part of the YCLA challenge as a full voting Member.  While not for everyone, full membership gives a Bible-believing young person a chance to learn and grow with special support from others, both in his age group and from trusted, elder advisers.

A Member gains an inside position and view for the workings of the YCLA.  He is expected to contribute both his vote when necessary as well as ideas and questions when possible.  If you would like to join the challenge and be educated for a special level of servanthood, the requirements are as follows:

1. You must be from 10-21 years old.

2. You must be a born-again believer, striving to be more like Christ and regularly reading the Bible.  (Evaluate these requirements for yourself)

3. You must show a Christ-like, obedient, and creative spirit.  (Evaluate this requirement for yourself)

4. You must agree with the YCLA Constitution. (Substantial agreement with the principles, and acceptance of the method of YCLA member-governance)

5. You need to participate in at least two YCLA meetings or activities.  (see below)

6. Your parents need to understand and support you in joining.

7. If all other requirements are complete, you will be certified by the YCLA Board or a designated leader.

> If you are not in an area where there are current YCLA functions going on, here is how you can "participate in two activities" (number 5):

First, fill out the brief info sheet below. This operation counts as one activity.

Second, do one of the following:
- Help start, or become involved in, a school prayer group with Operation Pi, and intend to remain active in it for at least three months.
- Host a YCLA event such as Lead the Lemon in your church.  If you found out about the YCLA at this type of event, that also counts toward this requirement.
- Suggest and fulfill another project.  The project must benefit our group and the cause of Biblical principle in order for it to count as a "YCLA activity."

For support in this requirement, email us at yclalliance@gmail.com.
