Young Christian Leaders' Alliance

Lifting the Torch of Reformation

About Us - Who is the YCLA?

Our Mission Statement: To motivate young people to take action for Biblical principle.

The Young Christian Leaders' Alliance is a group of principled young people, in conjunction with many adult advisers and supporters, spread out across the United States and reaching into several foreign countries. We are a team of youth, united by Biblical charity, with a commitment to serve Christ with our lives, honor our parents, and apply Biblical principle in creative and increasingly effective ways.  In doing so, we will bring glory to God and show others the way to His freedom.

Achievements of our group include the authoring of a 140-page "Handbook for Young Christian Leaders" now available on an interactive CD-ROM, Operation Pi, a project which has helped start student prayer groups in six states, multiple tract-passing and witnessing campaigns, a successful awareness outreach for the persecuted church, and a trip to the AiG Creation Museum in Kentucky.  We are also currently developing a leadership training system called BEAMS (for use with the Handbook), which stands for Becoming Energetic And Mobilized Servants.

The YCLA was formed in July of 2007 by three families who were committed to the Truth of God’s Word and who believed in its importance to the foundation of America.  We now are blessed to have contacts currently closing in on 30 states, representing over 150 young people plus many adults.  While our group is currently connected primarily through online networking and email, more tangible and active bases of support are quickly being built.  Our purpose is to expand both our online network and our team bases to constitute a powerful and effective voice for Biblical authority, righteous living, and godly societal principles.

Please consider joining us at no cost in this mission, whether through online membership, full voting membership, or simply signing up for our emails and helping where you can!

Our Goals

We want to...

  1. Learn and practice leadership skills so we can better serve God and others.
  2. Organize learning experiences and opportunities for action for Bible-believing youth across the United States, and elsewhere.
  3. Create numerous resources to educate, inspire, and evangelize with sustainable results.
  4. Encourage prayer and a closer individual relationship with God for each other.
  5. Unite other groups for action under a common belief in the authority of Scripture.

Our Action Plan

It is our intention to complete our goals by...

...Learning

  1. Learn the Bible and the Biblical principles that should guide our lives as believers.
  2. Gain wisdom together from our parents and elders, from experiences which God allows us to have, and from edifying teachers and authors.

...Growing

  1. Grow personally through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
  2. Grow our network with God’s direction as we serve others and communicate with them.

...Acting

  1. Claim individuals for Christ, spreading the Good News and promoting righteousness.
  2. Identify and contact other committed Young Christian Leaders to unify them in support of the new reformation.
  3. Inspire people around us to be examples of Christ, and to, in turn, influence others.
