Young Christian Leaders' Alliance

Creating and Serving a Network of Principled Young People!

About the YCLA

Who We Are

Mission Statement: To motivate young people to take action for Biblical principle.

The Young Christian Leaders' Alliance is a group of principled young people, with many adult advisers and supporters, spread out across the United States and reaching into several foreign countries.  While our group is connected primarily through online networking and email, more tangible and active bases of support are gradually being built from the ground up.  Our purpose is to expand both our online network and our team bases to eventually constitute a powerful and effective voice for the Biblical worldview, righteous living, and godly societal principles.

The YCLA was formed in July of 2007 by three families who were committed to the Truth of God’s Word and who believed in its importance to the foundation of America.  We now are blessed to have contacts extending to close to 20 states, representing well over 100 young people and almost as many adults.

Achievements of our group include multiple tract-passing and witnessing campaigns, a successful awareness outreach for the persecuted church, a fantastic weekend excursion to the Creation Museum funded by our distribution of Answers magazines, the production of a 70-page Handbook for Young Christian Leaders, and Operation Pi, a project which will run through the year 2010 and which has already helped start student prayer groups in five states.  We are currently developing a leadership training system called BEAMS, which stands for Becoming Energetic And Mobilized Servants.

We pray that God will continue to bring people like you to join us, whether through online membership, full voting membership, or simply signing up for our emails and helping where you can.

Our Goals

We want to...

  1. Lean to exhibit leadership, ingenuity, and a Christ-like attitude and character, advancing morale and courage in places where we may have influence.
  2. Put into practice these qualities at frequent meetings, projects, and creative programs, providing accountability and momentum towards Biblical objectives.
  3. Produce and distribute materials relevant to the mission of the YCLA, especially to inform and evangelize lost young people outside our group.
  4. Be guided as individuals by the direction of God, through prayer together, fasting, reading of His Word, and wise counsel.
  5. Encourage the cooperation of pro-freedom organizations under the common banner of Liberty In Law and the Biblical worldview.

Our Plan of Action

It is our intention to complete our goals by...

Learning

  1. Learn the Bible and the Biblical principles that should guide our lives as believers.
  2. Gain wisdom together from our parents and elders, from experiences which God allows us to have, and from edifying authors and teachers.

Growing

  1. Grow personally through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
  2. Grow our network with God’s direction as we serve others.

Acting

  1. Claim individuals for Christ, spreading the Good News and promoting righteousness.
  2. Identify and contact other committed Young Christian Leaders to unify them in support of a new reformation.
  3. Influence people around us to be examples of Christ, and to, in turn, influence others.

Welcome

Our Foundation

The foundation of the YCLA is the Word of God.  We believe that Christian teens and youth have not only a call to uphold the Biblical worldview, but a unique opportunity to do so.  The YCLA exists to strengthen and encourage in that opportunity, whether in regards to issues of origins, political or social quests, or everyday cultural interaction.  It is our mission to activate young people for purposes which serve God, our great Creator.
